Wooden Shutters
Wooden shutters or plantation shutters as they are also called have become very popular in
the last 10 years. Although you might think of victorian houses and shutters together modern wooden plantation
shutters look good in any property.

You can see from this picture how good wooden plantation shutters look in a bay
window. The slats were made extra large to allow as much light into this room as possible. As well as tilting the
louvres of the wooden shutters they can open up completely to allow full light into the room.
By opening the wooden shutters you can clean the windows and have good access for
maintenance of the frames and windows.
Wooden Shutters
These wooden shutters are fitted to a window next to the front door. There are four
shutter panels. two panels open top the left and two panels to the right. This set of wooden shutters is unusual
because there is no window reveal to speak of. The shutters were fittedd directly onto the windows themselves. the
slats are 64mm wide and they all have a central tilt rod, which is the standard configuration.
